We understand that the relationship with your
caregiver is an important component of
success. This starts with experienced,
professional and reliable staff that each have
a complete background check and extensive
training. This way, you can place your trust
in caregivers that make you feel comfortable.
Patients are people. Considerate Care never
forgets that. People measure success by
whether they can do all the things they did
before their medical episode. That is where
the addition of Personal Care services is so
important.
Personal Care is designed to help you with
your Activities of Daily Living (You may hear
professionals refer to them as “ADLs”). Why
move when we can keep you in your home and
turn that gap between therapy and independence
into a successful transition back to the life
you know?
Our Care Givers:
Our caregivers consist of Registered Nurses,
Licensed Practical Nurses, Physical, Occupational & Speech
Therapists, Medical Social Workers, Certified Nursing Assistants, Home Health Aides and Companions. Our staff and caregivers are experienced, professional and reliable. Each staff member is thoroughly screened and undergoes a criminal background and reference check. We provide ongoing training to our staff.
Before the start of care our Registered Nurse will meet with you and family members to discuss, plan and coordinate care tailored to your need. We then place an aide whom we think is best fitted to meet your needs.
Skilled Nurses
Nurses assess conditions and provide
complex care to the patient together with education and
training to family and caregivers.
Physical Therapists
Physical therapists help regain
independence with strength and mobility restoring
exercises.
Occupational Therapists
Occupational therapists help to regain
daily living skills and adapt as needed to physical
changes.
Speech Therapists
Speech therapists improve quality of
life by restoring the ability to swallow and communicate.
Medical Social Workers
Medical social workers provide guidance
to access needed services & provide counseling.
Companions
Companions can provide assistance with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, companionship and more.
Live-Ins
Live-in caregivers live in the home on a full time basis, helping the client maintain normal routine as much as possible, while providing the necessary care and companionship.
Home Health Aides (HHAs) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
In addition to the services provided by companions, HAA and CNAs assist with "hands-on" personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, walking, and toileting. HHAs or CNAs cannot give injections or dispense medications but can remind the patient to take their medication.
Our aides hold a certificate of completion from a home health aide training program approved by VA Department of Health and work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
